Train Boston is the most unique and
effective sport and fitness training
company in New England. In November,
2002, the way TrainBoston approached
business changed - they elevated themselves
from being just another personal training
company or physical therapy provider
to a state-of-the-art sport and fitness
training center. After this shift
in business strategy their website
and messaging were no longer conducive
to generating new business.
Myelo developed a new site architecture
and design that reflects a user-centered
approach, providing destinations and
clear paths for TrainBoston's primary
constituents, such as professional
athletes, youth, business professionals
and elderly clients. The design system
is simple, clean, and free of visual
clutter while adhereing to TrainBoston's
branding guidelines.
Myelo also developed a customized
content managment system that would
enable the staff of TrainBoston to
easily manage their website while
avoiding the re-accuring and time
delays of maintenance contracts. They
system also allows TrainBoston to
updates their home page images so
that they can keep the consistency
between offline and online marketing
very tight.
The content managment system also
branched out to managing a web-based
member database system. This system
allows the staff to develop very customized
lists based on their members profiles
for any marketing initiatives they
may want to create.
